How it works
Each puzzle is a 3x3 grid with the last cell missing
Read the pattern across the rows and down the columns
Level 1 has one rule; higher levels stack shape, count, colour, size, fill and rotation rules, and level 7 mixes row and column rules with cell arithmetic
The Mensa standard test is 30 questions in 30 minutes; it stops automatically when time runs out
Results are given as an IQ score (mean 100, standard deviation 15); 132 and above is the top 2%
